Bob,
Looking at the new AIM4170B I am struck by 2 accessories that are available with it that look interesting.
One is the padded case, and the other is the PL259 calibration loads. I have had a hard time getting a good set of calibration standards soldered up on some coax sleeves. I could use these with my BNC-to-Coax adapter to calibrate my 4170A for coax.
Are either of these available separately, and if so, how much?
thanks

The calibration loads are not normally sold separately, but you can get the same connectors at: The RF Connection www.therfc.comType N male: NM9913Qquick $3.50 UHF male : PL-259TSS $1.75 The AIM cal loads use two 100 ohm resistors in parallel. You may want to consider using chip resistors rather than leaded. I've soldered chips inside the connectors but it is pretty tedious. --73/Bob

Hello AIM 4170 Customers, We have introduced a protective case for your AIM 4170 analyzer so you don’t scratch it and get it dusty, or wet. You can see it on our website here www.arraysolutions.com/Products/AIM4170B.htm#top%20of%20page It uses high density water jet cut foam, in a black molded case. There are cutouts for your loads, and a few adapters as well as the Power Supply and perhaps a USB adapter cable. We have it listed on the shopping cart at an introductory price which will save you about $10 over our final price, which will be changed once we get about 50 of them sold. Thanks very much.
