Hi Bob,
I am doing my first steps with the 4170 that I just received and I find it is now FUN to play and do some antenna work !
I have just a question or a wish... After doing a wide scan of my antenna and saving it to a file, would it be possible to access the same data when you select a band segment... and see that portion of the scanned data. The graph just gets empty and I don't see how I could plot this portion of data from previous scan. This way one could kind of zoom in the different segments he needs from a wide scan.
OR may be I am not doing it right...
Tnx Phil VE2FU

Hi Phil, The AIM4170 doesn't have a zoom feature (yet). You can save the scan data and then load it into the Zplots program and select subranges to plot.
You can get Zplots by clicking the Utilities menu and then Zplots. It can be downloaded from the internet and it runs with Excel. Thanks to Dan McGuire for a very handy tool for making graphs for analysis and presentations.

OK Tnx Bob for answer, I will try zplot in the mean time ! it would be nice if by selecting the band or bandwidth the data would be there ! ...will let you work the magic !
Thanks for making this fine tool. 73' Phil VE2FU
