I am wondering if anyone has used the AIM software with Linux OS under wine?

Hi Ian,
I did not receive any replies to my question. In the interim I installed Wine on my dual-boot computer (Linux & Windows) computer and tried running the AIM program. (I’ve little experience using Linux and have never tried Wine up to this point so there may be some issues on this end.) Anyway, the program seems to load but the graphic display was incomplete and few functions responded so I concluded it wouldn’t run.
I had hoped it would, as I was looking at one those little mini-notebook computers for using my AIM on in the field. At that time those computer were only available with Linux OS. Today, however, many are available with Window XP so I purchase an Acer Aspire One with the Windows OS and it is running very nicely.
Note I also use a Bluetooth RS-232 connection to the AIM that makes things very convenient.
