The config file editor is a help, but the congig entries can still be within the program as a set of options from a pull down window, as in most other programs.
The cursor instruction in the manual and in the config file (1= always active, 0 = active only if left mouse pressed) does not work as advertised. Cursor is always active and is a big distraction if not needed at the moment. Forces user to circle around the main screen to keep from moving it.

In the next version I've made the Cursor Enable bit complement the way the Control-Key works so it's possible to have it either way, normally enabled or normally disabled. The idea of the config file is to have different setups for different situations and be able to switch between them easily. For example, some computer monitors may work better with different colors. Calling up a different config file is easier than tinkering with the colors when changing to another computer. There may be some parameters in the config file that you would like to change more often from a menu, let me know which ones. Also, there may be some new parameters that would be nice to make selectable, perhaps they can be added to the option list. I'm always glad to get new idea for software enhancements. -- 73/ Bob

Hi Bob, where has the "measure cable" function in the functions menu gone? 73 Clemens DL4RAJ I took out the "measure cable" function since that is similar to the "distance to fault" function. If some people think it would be useful to have both, let me know. -- Bob
