.....AND if you have the space and the desire, you can also put 2 or more of those great antennas, phase them and enjoy tx AND rx gain. Believe me, the receive gain is nothing short of spectacular.
It is good to have a good sigs, but if you cannot copy them it is hard to make a qso.
Phasing is nothing magic, with the 2180 or 470. The complete set of formulas are also available FREE from my website. Check qrz.com.
My beam if on 80m, but you can use the formulas for any band.
I used the VNA 2180 for my setup.
