Crystal Scanning Question

Hi Bob, Resonant Frequencies are not found or displayed when i attempt to do a wide band Crystal Scan. The auto Crystal Parameter Program appears to work correctly. I have tried Many Crystals all with the same results.
Hardware: Factory Upgraded AIM 4170C
Software: Ver.700C
OS: XP Pro SP3

Hi Paul,

The difference between the series and parallel frequencies is usually small, so the delta freq (step size) has to be small or you may jump over the interesting region. Try a step size like 0.0001 (0.1KHz). You can use the series freq found by the automatic function as a guide. Start a few KHz below this value.
