There's a thread running in the topband contesting reflector right now discussing the possible use of cat-5/cat-6 cable as a low cost balanced antenna feeder for the LF bands.
Has anyone here done that I wonder, and/or analyzed this type of cable with the AIM4170?

Ian, at 130 bux for 1000 ft roll, might as well use the catv cables of rg6 or rg59 types at 78 dollars cdn per 1000. I'm using those cables for stubs, phasing and merely coax feeder with my sb220. Careful though to get the non foam type which is a potential moisture migrator. roy va2gu
