A custom cal file that has been working normally in v655 produces a "Custom Cal Problem" window message in v684a "The end frequency is not within the custom cal linits which are 100 to 170 MHz". The custom cal file was produced using 1000 points from 100 to 170 MHz. I've tried changing the Limits tab settings in v684 for nearby start/stop/step values but find that I need to change the stop value all the way down to 160 before v684a accepts the cal file and then I can proceed to perform a Scan. This feature of 684a is annoying, is there a fix? Thanks.

Since Version 670 the format of the cal file is different from earlier versions. This change affects scans starting at the lowest or ending at the highest frequency limits. In many cases, older cal files can still be used, but it depends on the start and stop frequencies.

Thanks, Bob. I have not kept up with changes and didn't realize formats of cal files had changed, too. When the weather is better, I guess I'll re-cal my outdoor systems.
