I am a long time user of the AIM analyzers and have compared and reviewed them in the past.
I produce totally free educational videos about analyzers such as the 4170 and 2180 combined with an incredibly capable free program called SimSmith. All the videos are totally free with nothing being sold or advertised. Topics include every type of matching, baluns, transmission line transformers, filters, etc. and are good to improve your understanding of RF topics.
If these topics are of interest you can find the videos on YouYube www.youtube.com and search for w0qe or go to
If you enjoy these topics subscribe to the channel and you will be notified of all new videos that I produce.

Wow -- as an elderly person, I only beame aware of YouTube subscriptions until recently (well, at the time our 14th grandchild was born about 18 months ago). I started reading Mr. Benko's tutorials in 2011, when I got back into HF and wanted to build wire antennas.
I would have to remind myself from time to time to go visit his website. After awhile, at an elderly age, one forgets to periodically review what's in their browser bookmarks. (There's an idea for you, Firefox.)
So thank you W0QE
