I have an AIM 4170C. It's program resides in C:\Program Files (x86)\AIM4170. I like to put data files I generate in my D:\Program Data\AIM4170.
I do this because I like to back up data I generate (D: disk) more frequently than programs and OS stuff (C: disk). Does the AIM program allow me to define the path to where it looks for Configuration and Calibration files?

Not sure if it works this way with the Config files, but for the most part it seems to learn where you keep your files and go back to that spot, most of the time. So if you were to make that folder and move all your config files there, then reload a new config file and resave it to that location, I think you'll go back to that spot next time. Same for the calibration files. I've been moving all my scan files, and BMPs ect and for the most part it does go back there next time. I haven't looked to see if you can actually configure it for a specific location, but it does seem to remember the last one used.
