I recently purchased a new (old stock) Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet which is running Windows 8.1. I loaded the latest (546B) VNA software into the tablet, made all the right connections to the USB port, set the port number on the tablet and VNA, but I still cannot get the tablet to communicate with the VNA. I've tried other port numbers, but it still won't work. The "Demo" version runs/displays okay. The VNA works well on another Windows XP notebook computer.
Suggestions on things to try, please!
Thanks! Charlie in Missouri

I didn't receive any replies to my post...I'm surprised no one new the possible remedy or didn't offer help. Problem solved now. My Dell Venue 8 had been updated with all the latest drivers, etc. The updated driver for the USB port was not compatible with the VNA. I downloaded an older version of the driver and all is now OK. Hope this helps someone with a similar problem! 73, Charlie in Missouri
