Using AIM915A with my AIM120, I cannot go below 100KHz for either Custom Calibration or Scan Limits. Reverting to 852A lets me go down to 10KHz. I realize that accuracy down there is reduced, but this month I have been using my AIM to characterize film capacitors for a switching power supply that is ringing at 7MHz, with a switching speed below 40KHz. Information verifying continuity of impedance from switching speed on up is very helpful, especially since some of the caps are series resonant below 1MHz. Can we please have at least 10-100KHz back (even better would be 5-100KHz).

I am using an AIM4170 and have become interested in VLF comms, did I imagine it or was there some info on cap changes to lower the measurement capability? if I did not imagine this could someone please kindly link to this modification? How low will it then go? Thanks.
