AIM4170C battery connections

I would like to install a 9V battery inside the case of my AIM4170C. The reference manual shows a picture of the board for a 4160. The 4170C has a different layout and the markings for the battery + and - are in a different area and it is not very clear what points they reference. I don't want to make a mistake and fry some components. Not having a schematic makes trying to do this a bit risky.
