At this time I am using AIM4170 to measure the characteristics of current choke baluns. It appears to do this very well with the 4170 showing characteristics very similar to those published by W2DU in 'Reflections' page 21-10 Fig 21-3.
Some of the characteristics measured so far could be displayed to advantage on a log scale frequency and amplitude. This has already been done with the SWR scale - are there any plans to do the same for other scales?

Hi Peter,
At this time there is no plan to implement log scales for frequency or amplitude. Note that other scales can be entered manually in the appropriate edit box of the scales dialog. These will be linear scales except for the swr which has the option to enter an "L" with the number to make it logarithmic.

I will Second the Request .. at least for a Log Magnitude Scale option
